If reference is dead, why am I so tired at the end of the day?

—I love this blog post from The Librarienne at Closed Stacks. I spent this afternoon on the Ref Desk. I’m also a distance runner. And I’m knackered. Glad I’m not the only one. I also love the closing quote: “We are still libraries, what’s wrong with that?  We don’t have to be everything to everyone because as the recession has shown us, we have something people want.  Take a little pride in that.” I salute you Librarienne!
